    CV676C (GM #6421980)
    , according to
    GM
    parts books, was discontinued in 1966. It was then
    superseded
    by
    CV676C
    (GM #6421240) which was also discontinued in 1966
    The
    CV676C (Ventilator Valve)
    is much heavier and is made from heavy milled steel. While all modern PCV valves are much lighter, appear different, and are clearly manufactured from a light gauge stamped steel.
    Also, note the
    CV676C box
    ,
    has no zip code
    , which became mandatory sometime on or about 1967. This
    CV676C
    is a
    survivor
    . Its little box shows minor shelf wear, the
    Valve is in Good NOS Condition
    with some minor external oxidation / discoloration.
