Military Commemorative Cross / Badge for the Warriors evacuated to the island of LEMNOS ( Greece)
The “ LEMNOS “ Cross was established with the inscription “LEMNOS” and the dates “ 1920-1921 “ by order of the Commander-in - Chief General Wrangel of November 15, 1921.
The rectangular cross was made of iron, copper, bronze or silver, had a dark color and was covered with black paint or enamel. Signs of later production had a white enamel border around the entire perimeter .
Depending of the time and place of manufacture, the installations on the crosses were made in different fonts.
