VINTAGE SHEAFFERS ADVERTISING DISPLAY FOUNTAIN PEN WHITE DOT W/GLASS BASE

Description

This recent find is from the estate of a retired NASA MSFC Engineer/ Antique store owner is a STORE ADVERTISING SHEAFFER'S Desk Top Fountain Pen and Base/Holder. Fountain Pen is a large White Dot Black with gold and chrome accents and includes the SCHAEFFERS LIFETIME NIB. Base is Green Glass WITH "SHEAFFER'S LIFETIME WITH DRY PROOF SOCKET AND FEATHERTOUCH POINT" in Print - Pen and Base each have a piece attached to them (see pictures 6 and 7) that would have held a chain keeping the "DISPLAY" pen attached to the base (Ball Chain is Missing). Base and Pen are in Good condition with some expected use/storage/age wear including some small minor nicks in glass (see pictures 11 and 12). Pen needs a new bladder. NIB is marked "SHAEFFERS LIFETIME REG US PAT OFF MADE IN USA 5619923" and barrel is marked "W.A. SHAEFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA. USA PATENTED IN USA." Back side of base has felt backing. Base is 4-7/8"W x 5-3/4"L and pen is appx. 7-3/4"L.
