This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique fountain pen ~ perfect for the collector or to use as was intended.  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at recent rural Kansas estate auctions. This listing:
Sheaffer's Fountain Pen
barrel marked with Sheaffer's info and the number 1000
white dot on the top of the cap
gold clip is smooth
wide gold band
shades of golden and brown ~ may be what is known as a golden pearl ??
the end unscrews and is a vacuum filler
the nib is marked 14K and Sheaffer's and Made in USA
it is 5 inches in length
I have not cleaned in any way ~ selling as found
no noise when shaken
