Vintage Sheaffer's Craftsman Fountain Pen circa the 1940's
The pen was made by The W.A. Sheaffer Company, Fort Madison, Iowa, USA
It is 5-1/8 inches in length.
The barrel and cap are made from celluloid and are a nice green in color.
The clip is gold and has Sheaffer's engraved on it. The cap has a small gold cap ring at its bottom.
The cap top is rounded.  The barrel bottom is rounded.
The ink fill system on this pen is pneumatic - 'Touchdown' style. Turn the barrel end.
The pen was flushed, ultrasonically cleaned then polished.
The nib is fine and is made from 14KT gold.  It is engraved with Sheaffer's, 33,14KT and Made in the U.S.A.
A nice vintage pen.
