  • Condition: The pen looks relatively clean, but has a few dried ink spots. It has not been tested and will likely need cleaning and restoration. The cap rim and clip area have been looked over and I did not find any cracks, but it does have scratches from use and age. The threads on the barrel are still intact and the manufacturer's stamping is legible. I did not attempt to lift the fill lever.

    The cap upper rim is marked " 3-25 ". The nib has " Sheaffer's " in an arch with " 22 " then below this " Student Special ". The barrel has " W.A. Sheafffer Pen Co. Pat. Aud, 25-08, Fort Madison IA. U.S.A. ". Below this " DEC, 10,12-Jan. 27-Oct. 20, Nov. 24 14 ". It is 3 7/8 inches without the cap and 4 3/8 inches with cap.
