Vintage Sheaffer Lifetime White Dot Green Striated Vacuum Fountain Pen 14K Nib

Description

Vintage Sheaffer White Dot fountain pen with vacuum filling system.  As you can see from the photos, the pen is in good shape for its age.  The pen is not personalized or engraved.
The green striated barrel is in good shape.  There are no cracks or bite marks visible.  The barrel threads smoothly onto the cap.  The pen is clearly marked "W. A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA, U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A." in three lines.  The vacuum filler threads cleanly onto the barrel.  The plunger moves, but it does take more pressure than I expected.  The rod may need additional cleaning.
The white dot cap is also in good shape.  The gold clip is firmly attached and it rests tight to the cap.  The cap is not cracked and there are no bite marks visible.
The "lifetime" nib is in good shape.  Based on my limited research it appears the "lifetime" nibs were discontinued in the mid-1960s.
PLEASE NOTE:  I have not inked this pen, so I do not know if it will require additional parts or service to function properly.
I lightly cleaned the pen using warm soap and water.
