    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage SHEAFFER's BALANCE white dot vac fill fountain pen with a LIFETIME 2 tone nib with gold trim in Carmine Striated color. I have seen this pen referred to as a LIFETIME FEATHERTOUCH STATESMAN. The barrel of the pen is clearly imprinted W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON U.S.A. PATENTED IN U.S.A. The nib is imprinted G20740 SHEAFFER'S LIFETIME Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Made in U.S.A. It measures a little less than 5 inches long with the cap on. There are some imperfections on barrel which are magnified in the high def photos. There are no visible cracks. The gold trim has some discoloration especially at the end of the clip. The coloring on the pen is uneven with areas of dark spots.
    The pen is pre-owned and untested and sold as found.
    I describe based on what I see and on research. These came from a large estate collection of vintage and antique pens/pencils I acquired and will continue to post over the coming months.
