    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage Sheaffer Balance? Non White Dot Vac Fill Fountain Pen with a Sheaffer's 3 nib in a Golden Brown Striated color with gold trim. There is minor scratches to the gold trim and slight discoloration to the band.
    The vacuum fill mechanism does not pull out all the way.
    The barrel is clearly
    imprinted W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co. Fort Madison, IOWA, U.S.A. Made in U.S.A. The clip is imprinted Sheaffer's.
    It measures just over 5 1/4 inches long with the cap on.  The nib is imprinted Sheaffer's 3 Made in U.S.A. There is remnants of red ink on the nib and the threads. There are no visible cracks.
    Any imperfections are magnified in the high def photos.
    The pen is pre-owned, untested and sold as found.
    I describe based on what I see and on research. This came from a large estate collection of vintage and antique pens/pencils.
