Victorian Flask Antique Safari Union Club English Sterling Silver Leather 1885

Description

Large Victorian safari flask. Made by William Thomas Wright and Frederick Davis in London in 1885. Clear glass body. Top half encased in leather and bottom half has sterling silver cup. Short straight sterling silver neck with hinged and cork-lined bayonet cover. "Union Club / New York" engraved on cup underside. The two-hand alpha model.
Fully marked including retailer's stamp "Lewis & Co. 172 New Bond St". Good condition with some leather wear. Cup not detachable.
