Up for sale is a lovely antique English Victorian 4 piece tea and coffee set. The four piece set includes a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and creamer, all in very good condition with silver plating that shines up beautifully and shows no loss.
Each piece has a traditional Victorian eight sided shape which has been superbly decorated with highly detailed engraved floral sprays and fruit design. The detailing is absolutely superb, intricate and still crisp, which adds quality and elegance to the set. There are elongated spaces waiting to be engraved with a monogram, or left blank and original.
Original silver plated finials are present on the tea and coffee pot, and the hinged lids work fine. Notice the hinges are are flush to the body of the two pots, signifying style and quality.
No marks are present to indicate a maker, but this set is most certainly Sheffield, mid to late Victorian Era, 1860-80’s.

Condition: very good, slight surface wear
