    Cabinet card photograph of Sir Edward Carson (1854-1935), signed below the image by Carson in pencil. Dated 1897 (approximately), photo by Lafayette Ltd. Front quite lovely, with scarring to reverse where this was removed from autograph album.
    From the collection of Captain Peter Johnston-Saint, who worked for many years as an agent collecting on behalf of Sir Henry Wellcome. This collection was purchased at the Sotheby's December 10th, 2019 sale.
