Condition: I have not cleaned this item. No dents or dings. It is missing the insulator tap cover. When opening the roll top, one must hold on to tab. If not, it moves quickly to the open position with a little thud. No damage done, but better to move it slowly with the tab. Some remnants of old pink silver polish.

Engraved w/ rose garlands, geometric border & beading, & lion face / claw feet.
Complicated monogram on top I am unable to decipher.
Lion & paw feet as shown.
Be sure to read the condition description above & examine photos.
I believe one can adjust the ease of the roll mechanism with the little "screws" on each side. My old hands are unable to do this.
Hallmarks on side as shown. I believe this is date letter for 1871, but am unsure.
