    Description

Sheaffer Lifetime Balance pen, circa 1937-'42, in emerald green pearl striped Radite celluloid and gold filled trim. This is the full size pen, slightly thinner than the oversized Senior. Sheaffer Lifetime two tone nib with good platinum masking, upturned tip, nice medium point. Some wear to the barrel imprint. This is a vacuum filler, and the rod goes in and out as it should, but the pen will need to be restored in order to fill with ink. The writing samples were made by dipping the pen. Length just over 5  3/8 inches.
The writing samples were made with the pen itself, dipped in Waterman Intense Black ink, on a Rhodia pad.
