    Description

    Sheaffer black early Balance era lever filler desk pen. Correct smooth wet medium monotone "Sheaffer Feather Touch Made in USA 5" open gold nib and feed. Plating very nice with light use and drawer wear. Nice imprint showing the old imprint ending in 1914 patent with no price code. Light use and drawer wear. A very nice example of this early "500" model desk pen. One of my last pens from the black pen display collection.
