Sheaffer black and gray marble Balance fountain pen (648)

Description

Sheaffer black and gray marble lever filler. Correct smooth wet firm fine to medium "Sheaffers Feather Touch Made in USA"  open two tone nib and feed (picture of writing sample was blurry so did not post). The plating is wearing on all the metal parts with part of the original plating still present. Pocket use marks on the left side of the clip top from pen next to another metal pen when in a pocket otherwise light use and drawer wear. Several small marks on the section where it joins the threaded part of the barrel. No cap lip cracks and importantly for this model no crazing on the cap top or pen end. Pen was in my pen model collection as it was the best example of this pattern in this size I found in the wild over the years.
