SHEAFFER ADMIRAL SNORKEL IN BURGUNDY, TD FILLER, GFT, c1954

This listing is for a SHEAFFER ADMIRAL SNORKEL pen  from about 1954. This pen is in burgundy and is 5-9/16" long. It has excellent gold filled trim The barrel imprint is in three lines, but there is wear to the imprint and it is a little hard to read.  Generally the plastic is in excellent condition and there are no observed external flaws to the pen. The  Snorkel  and Touchdown filler move smoothly, and although it takes up some fluid, after several strokes there is some blow back at the blind cap and probably needs new seals and a sac while you're there.  Nib Is a SHEAFFER'S , REG, U,.S PAT.OFF., 14k, MADE IN USA, 5. It is a fine nib, perfectly straight and pretty firm.
