Mystic Mountain Slabs
DESCRIPTION:  Slab of Hampton Butte Petrified Wood Replacement Agate from Oregon.  This is rare old stock material having been collected over 20 years ago on privately held land.  You will note from the photos the wide variation in the agate that comes from Hampton Butte.  Moss, fortifications, plumey-looking areas, and lots of inclusions.  Colors range from several shades of greens, some blues, reds, yellows, brown and white.  I have listed only the Hampton Butte agate that is relatively fracture-free, but there may be an occasional fracture in a slab that I have overlooked.  It is the responsibility of the buyer to examine all the photos to ensure what they will receive.
PHOTOGRAPHIC CONDITIONS:
All photographs are taken under direct, high-intensity Arizona sunlight at 3300 feet. We do not use Photoshop to enhance the colors of slabs or rough.

PITTING:
As described above.  There always exists the possibility of pitting occurring somewhere on the outer surface or internally that is discovered when grinding cabochons.
FRACTURES:
As described above.  There always exists the possibility of fractures in all slabs and rough that are overlooked when I handled them for slabbing or photographing.
