    Description

    Wonderful ANTIQUE VINTAGE S. Sternau & Company, SS&Co. TRADE MARK Hallmark NICKEL PLATED TEAPOT KETTLE with LID & WOODEN HANDLES.  Teapot is in good used condition; there is one tiny ding, some oxidation inside, light scratches and marks consistent with age.  Handle folds down easily for filling.  There is a built-in strainer on the inside of kettle at the spout hole.  This Nickel plated kettle is marked on bottom "Trade SS&C Mark", the hallmark of the S. Sternau & Company of New York.  Teapot measures approximately 8" wide x 7" tall with handle with a wooden lid pull and handle center, holding 32 ounces.  Please look closely at pictures for details and condition, as part of description.  Will be carefully packed and promptly shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    S. Sternau & Co. was reportedly established in the 1890's in Brooklyn, N.Y. and operated between 1890 and 1930.  It made a variety of high quality brass, copper, nickel and silver plated products.
