Russian imperial ORDER of SAINT ANNA 3rd CLASS
Order Of Saint Anna with Swords 3st Class on ribbon. Order was established by Karl Friedrich, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp, on 14 February 1735, in honour of his wife Anna Petrovna, daughter of Peter the Great.
Membership of the Order was awarded for a distinguished career in civil service or for valour and distinguished service in the military. For military recipients, it was awarded with swords.
This version of the order was worn from 1830 to 1915. Rebuilt according to original historical sample with improvement of quality to be exactly as it was in it's period. Brass, all metal parts are gold plated, cold red enamel. High quality.
