Golden weapon "For Courage" - an award weapon in the Russian Empire, ranked as a state Orders from 1807 to 1917. The award of the Golden Cold Weapon - a sword, a cortico, and later a saber - was made as a sign of special differences, for the personal courage and selflessness shown. On March 19, 1855, a St. George Sword-Knot was introduced for Golden weapons: before that, such weapons were carried with the usual statutory Sword-Knots.
Since 1913, the Golden Weapon "For Courage" was officially called the St. George Weapon and was considered one of the distinctions of the Order of St. George.

Темляк кавалерийского типа к наградному Золотому оружию. Копия очень высокого качества - точно передана даже фактура ткани георгиевской ленты и посеребренная мишура. Представленный темляк - самого раннего типа, соответствует введенному в 1855 году образцу.
Приказом по военному ведомству № 66 от 19 марта 1855 года для Золотого оружия был введен особый темляк из орденской ленты: до этого момента такое оружие носилось с обычными уставными темляками. "Золотое оружие с бриллиантами" носилось без темляка; заменяющее его оружие имело изображение креста ордена Св. Георгия и носилось с темляком из георгиевской ленты. Золотое оружие также всегда носилось с георгиевским темляком, как и пришедшее ему на смену Георгиевское оружие.
Общая длина - 36 см.
Длина полотна - 25,5 см.
