Officer's Sword-Knot (troddel) - embossed ribbon with silver edges
Established by Orders on the military department No. 151 and 210 of 1881, No. 303 of 1906 and No. 44 of 1909. It was prescribed for wearing with Asian-style sabers and shashkas, as well as in the Cossack guards units.
It is noteworthy that according to the "Rules for Wearing Uniforms by Officers of All Arms," the cavalry's Sword-Knot, it is indicated that it is sewn "from a black leather belt sewn in silver." However, in practice, equally often genuine cavalry  Sword-Knots were common with both leather and cloth ribbons.

Копия очень высокого качества - точно передана даже фактура ткани ленты и посеребренная мишура на кисти.
Установлен Приказами по военному ведомству № 151 и 210 от 1881 года, № 303 от 1906 года и № 44 от 1909 года. Полагался для ношения при палашах, саблях и шашках азиатского образца, а равно и в гвардейских казачьих частях. Длинноклинковое оружие без темляка не носилось ни в строю, ни вне строя.
Примечательно, что согласно "Правилам ношения форм одежды офицерами всех родов оружия" о пехотном темляке говорится, что он изготавливается из "черной кожаной или волосяной ленты (ремня), прошитой серебром". Относительно кавалерийского темляка указано, что он шьется "из черного кожаного ремня, прошитого серебром". Тем не менее, на практике одинаково часто встречаются подлинные кавалерийские темляки как с кожаной, так и с матерчатой лентой.
