  • Condition: This conservative pastel grey Sentinel is in excellent restored condition with a small, inconspicuous ding on the peak of the stainless steel cap. The mechanical pencil is excellent, and the gift case is fair. The paper instructions leaflet is very good. Restoration includes disassembly, cleaning, replacement of all seals and the sac, smoothing and adjusting the nib, refinishing the plastic, stainless steel, and gold-filled surfaces, filling the pen with ink (not just dipping), and producing multiple writing samples over 2 days (like the ones in the photos).

    This conservative pastel grey Sentinel is in excellent restored condition with a small, inconspicuous ding on the peak of the stainless steel cap. It is difficult to see in the photos because of its small size. I have adjusted the price to account for this flaw. The mechanical pencil (Valiant model) is excellent, and the gift case is fair.
    The paper instructions leaflet is very good.
    Sheaffer's Snorkel Sentinel is a White Dot model featuring a 14k gold Triumph nib with platinum mask. Other premium features include a stainless steel cap with gold-filled cap band and a gold-filled, spring-loaded clip.
