Description
This black Snorkel Valiant is in excellent restored condition with no dings, scratches or cracks. The medium point nib has been smoothed and the ink adjusted for smooth writing.
The pencil is included free and is in excellent working order. It has a new eraser and 3 extra leads in the storage area. The peak of the cap has a small area that was damaged somehow, but it's inconspicuous and doesn't affect the pencil's function -- please see the last photo.
This Version of the Snorkel
Sheaffer's Snorkel Valiant is a White Dot model featuring a 14k gold Triumph nib with platinum mask. Other premium features include a 3/8" gold-filled cap band and a gold-filled, spring-loaded clip.
I will include a photocopy of an original Sheaffer's Snorkel instructions leaflet.
All restorations include
disassembly, cleaning,
replacement of all seals and the sac,
smoothing and adjusting the nib,
refinishing the plastic, stainless steel, and gold-filled surfaces,
filling the pen with ink (not just dipping)
and producing multiple writing samples over 2 days (like the ones in the photos).
All shipping materials are now biodegradable.
