Here is a fabulous booklet for the Girl Scout Historian or Collector.  It is titled, "ESTABLISHED CAMP STANDARDS FOR GIRL SCOUTS."  Copywrite is 1947 and has some great information.  I've tried to show you the Table of Contents, and you can see that this covers Equipment,  Leadership, Program, and pretty much what you would expect even today regarding safety, sanitation and nutrition... but, ... based on the expectations in 1947!!  This is in Pristine Condition except for the name written at the bottom of the cover as shown and the back cover has a slight bend that extends to the last page.  It measures approximately 8.5 inches X 5.5 inches and is 16 pages with a bibliography, no index.  There is some great historical information, but it seems that Camping has had similar goals over the years.  Perhaps that is part of why this type of camping is still so popular.  Fabulous little book for a Museum, Collector or Historian.
