Silver Ladle Dated 1804
! The ladle is very large and measures about 13" long x 3-5/8" wide at the widest part of the bowl and is marked with the four English hallmarks...the "lion passant" for sterling, The London "leopard head" city mark, The "I" date mark for 1804 and the portrait duty mark and finally with the maker's "WE WF" Hallmark/signature for
William Eley and Fearn

A very large, heavy, substantial well crafted piece that weighs 216 grams (or 7.6 ounces) on our scale as shown!
The piece is in excellent, used as-found condition overall with an all original and untouched patina to the sterling silver as shown. It could use a bit of polish if desired.
