NOTE sometimes when inserting a new hard drive or card for the 1st time it is best to unplug all power cords 1st.
1.  plug our power cord into our hub,and then the hub into your chromecast.
2. insert usb thumbdrives or sd,micro sd cards into the hub.
3. all usb thumbsticks & Hard Drives need to be formatted FAT 32 in order to work.
4. the chromecast will not give a on screen message that a usb drive has been detected,but it will show up in the storage menu within the settings.
5.  external usb hard drives will  work properly when using our high powered usb ac adapter

7.  There is a hdmi input on this hub but will not be used for the chromecast installation.
