    Description

Noble Game Of Billiards By Mingaud / Thurston (1830).
Noble Jeu de Billiard - Coups extraordinaires et surprenans.
(The Noble Game of Billiards. Extraordinary and surprising strokes) I
Mingaud invented the use of leather tips. Prior to this, it was wood to ball contact. It is ironic that a Frenchman invented the tip that allowed "English" to be played on the Cue-Ball.
The original French edition was published in 1827. Thurston translated it into English and published his 1st edition in 1830.
    IT IS MISSING THE FOLDOUT.
I will include a NOS print of the Foldout that you can have tipped-in, or framed to hang on the wall.
