    In 1985, GSUSA started a series of specific issues for Girl Scouts to discuss and learn.  This one,
    "Leading Girls to Mathematics, Science and Technology, Into the World of Today and Tomorrow,"
    was issued in 1987.  The book provides activities for Troops or groups.  It measures approximately 8.5 inches X 11 inches and is 20 pages.  It includes extensive resources including books for girls and/or adults, local organizations listed by state, and even program links to Badges and Interest Projects.  there is a sperate section with information by level, Brownies to Seniors  You may have noticed my abbreviation of STEM which is actually Science, Technology,
    Electronics
    and Mathematics, but in 1987 the E in STEM had not yet been added.  Great book for Historians and Researchers to see what was going on in this field in 1987 compared to today - THIRTY YEARS LATER!   Except for the name sticker on the cover, there is no writing or evidence of use.
    There are VERY FEW PATCHES listed in the Girl Scout Collector's Guide, (as opposed to badges and insignia,) but you will find these on page 64.
