Manuscript note signed by Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor. Datedf 1780.  Note in French, with another hand making up the majority and a smaller note written by Emperor Joseph II at bottom left corner. Folded at center. With fold measures 7.25" x 8.9".
From the collection of Captain Peter Johnston-Saint, who worked for many years as an agent collecting on behalf of Sir Henry Wellcome. This collection was purchased at the Sotheby's December 10th, 2019 sale.
