    Description

    Pair of English Georgian silver café au lait pots. Made by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield 1936-7. Each: Conical body and stepped and domed hinged cover with stained-wood vasiform finial. Capped stained-wood double-scroll handle. The coffeepot has a faceted and leaf-capped spout with scalloped mount. The hot milk pot has a curved and faceted spout. Fully marked including date letters for 1936 (hot milk jug) and 1937 (coffeepot), and no. Y611/2.
