    Description

    George Unite was a very well known Victorian silversmith.
    This sterling cup was assayed at the Birmingham office with the date letter for 1863.
    It is a hallmarked, monogrammed sterling silver christening mug tankard.
    It is slightly out of round and has a small dent on the body. It is slightly wavy on the bottom rim.
    The mug measures approximately 2 3/4” (6.98 cm) high and 2 1/8” (5.4 cm) in diameter.
    It weighs 2.26 oz. (64.07 gm), 58.4 troy oz.
