George II sterling silver salver. Made by George Wickes in London in 1747. Molded and scrolled piecrust rim interspersed with scallop shells. Well center has engraved armorial with raised spear. Three capped volute supports. Fully marked. Good condition with engraving nicely "sunk".Dimensions: H 1 3/8 x D 12 3/8 in. Weight: 24 troy ounces. #BU263
