2-1/4" x 4" cut mounted to 3-3/4" x 5," signed by U.S. Senator (1867-1874) George Bancroft, who added "Slavery by touch ethereal slain." He also established the U.S. Naval Academy. He died in 1891. Unknown signed cut on the back.
