    Description

    Up for bid is a fine English mid-century modernist silverplate EPNS 24 Piece fish service for 12 by Cooper Bros & Sons of Sheffield. The knives are 8 1/16 inches long, and 11 of the forks are 7 3/8 inches long.  One of the forks is actually a 7 5/8 inch place fork; I am not sure how it was added to this set. The pattern is a severe modern design with a concave handle front and a rounded square tip.  The pieces have not been monogrammed.  The pieces are all marked “C Bros. S / EPNS / A1 ENGLAND”, though some of the marks are fragmentary.


    Condition on the set is very good.  There is no wear-through or damage, just normal signs of light use.  A nice vintage modernist fish set!
