English Sterling Silver - Server by John Gilbert of Birmingham circa 1857 - weighs 2.30 troy ozs.
Please Note: This is part of a large collection of early English sterling silver spoons that we will be listing.
Marked: hallmarked with the makers mark, lion passant, anchor, date letter "I"
Measurements: 8 1/4" in length and the server portion measures 1 1/4" in width.
Monograms: crest of an arm hand holding a sword.
Condition: good condition. - has light surface scratches from normal use and age.
