Early ENGLISH CLOSE PLATE NUTCRACKER-Signed Prime, Birmingham-NR

Description

Up for sale are some fine old English close plated steel nutcrackers by Prime of Birmingham.  The pieces are 5 1/8 inches long.  They have a double-sided hinge to accommodate different sizes of nuts.  The have barbed plates to hold the nuts, and turned ribbed handles.  They have not been monogrammed.  They are marked [Pri / me] in a square and [(Crown) / MP] in a shield as shown.  Yes, I do actually have 8 of these available.
Condition on the nutcrackers is good.  There is just normal wear from use.  Some fine old pieces of close plate!
