    Order was formally established on November 26, 1769. Sign of III degree was a four-cross covered with white enamel. The central round medallion of the cross placed on a pink background image of St. George on horseback and spearing a dragon. Cross was worn on a ribbon around his neck.
    Cross II degree included two main components. On the neck floated a cross-same, but larger than the cross of the 3rd degree, and on his chest was placed quadrangular gold star of the Order of St. George, with the motto "For service and bravery."
