By order of the commander-in-chief, General Wrangel, dated November 15, 1921, a badge was established in memory of the stay of the White Russian army in military camps in a foreign land with the inscription "Gallipoli" and the dates "1920 - 1921" A rectangular cross was made of iron, copper, bronze or silver, had a dark color and was covered with black paint or enamel. Signs of later production had a white enamel border around the entire perimeter. Depending on the time and place of manufacture, the inscriptions on the crosses were made in different fonts. By order of General Wrangel dated June 30, 1923, the dates "1920 - 1923" were set on the badge for the troops that had borne the hardships of life in Gallipoli the longest.
