Official photo (approx. 9.7x14.8cm) of Chiang Kai-shek, the president of the Republic of China between 1928 and 1975. The photo is slightly bend at the left edge (about 3cm). The bending is only visible upon closer inspection (compare with the scans of the front and the back of the photo). Otherwise the photo is in very good condition. The photo is stamped on the back stating the photographer (Photo by Hu Chung Hsien).
A machine-written letter (approx. 21.3x27.5cm) signed in ink by the director of Kai-shek's office is included in this offer. It has the official letterhead of the president's office and an imprinted sun on it. The letter is dated November 16, 1967, and came with the autograph in response of an autograph request from Germany. The letter is hole punched on the left edge and has been kinked once vertically and three times horizontally. Otherwise good condition.
