Ca. 1791 Georgian Sterling Silver Sugar Sifter Dipper Strainer Ladle by Peter & Ann Bateman. A very Fine English Sterling Silver Dipper or Sugar Sifter Ladle with hand chased decoration and reticulated bowl. Hallmarked with Lion Passant, Leopards Head, Monarchs Head (George III) and date letter q for 1791, further marked with the makers mark of Peter & Ann Bateman (important maker) Strait line measurement 6 ½ inches with a 2 inch bowl.
