    Description

    I love this pair of napkin rings made by Henry Griffith & Son of Birmingham, England in 1905.  The fact they are in what appears to be the original case is even better. They are approximately 1 5/8" in diameter and 1" wide.  I would consider their condition as near perfect.  Because hallmarks are impressed before the articles are decorated, hallmarks may be partially obliterated in the final decorating process.  In this case, only the maker's mark is present on one of the rings.  The monograms are "MS" and "CS". I am assuming they were husband and wife.  I think this is a very special set of napkin rings, and the deserve to be loved and protected.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
