I have a small supply of beautiful Wonderstone from Nevada.
This banded rhyolite slab has two nearly parallel cuts. See photos carefully. Picture was taken damp. The beautiful golds really come out when damp. Last photo is mostly dry.
(It is also believed that Wonderstone is good for helping relieve stress, anxiety and depression offering a better sense of wellbeing and aid in meditation.)

“The Vernon Hills wonderstone is a welded-vitric tuff of rhyolitic composition. It is a volcanic rock composed predominantly of volcanic glass particles which have been welded or stuck together by heat and compacted by the weight of overlying material. Alteration of the rock by circulating ground water produced the colorful banding.”
