Babe Ruth Vintage Poker Chip, 0.00 never used in display case, 460/1500

The Las Vegas Club offered a series of baseball oriented limited edition poker chips. This one celebrates the immortal Babe's 100th birthday. The casino made the chip in the 0.00 denomination hoping to get collectors interested along with the public and as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of Ruth's birth in February of 1895. The casino created only 1,500 of these high value chips and this one is number 0460.   These were authorized and copywrite is from Ruth's estate company. This chip has never been used in any way except to display and is enclosed in a chips sleeve and with the casino's fact sheet and description in a blue cloth case. There is also a cardboard sleeve for the case and chip. Ruth memorabilia collector, chip collector whatever, a great addition to anyone's collection.
