Antique Sterling Silver Knifes Forks Mappin & Webb Edward Hutton 1882-99

DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
Up for sale are four pairs of sterling silver knifes and forks with the same design. They where made by two different makers but have the same design. They have  embellished etched/engraved designs and basket weave bands on mother of pearl handles. One pair is stamped with the Mappin and Webb Sheffield Hallmarks with what I think is a 1898 Date Mark on the knifes and 1899 on the Forks. The other pair is Marked with a Makers Mark for William Hutton & Sons (Edward Hutton). It has the London Hallmarks with a Victoria Sovereign's Head Mark. Although Hallmarked for London this company also operated in Sheffield and may explain the similar design. The Date Mark on the knifes and forks is 1882. The knifes measure about 8” long with a 4” blade. The forks measure about 6.5” long.
There is some damage to the handles mainly at the ends. Some are more damaged than others, more on the Edward Hutton ones.  The prongs on some forks are a bit bent. There is some wear and staining on some. One of the Mappin and Webb knife handles has a darker shade patch. Please review the photographs and email me if you have any questions or want additional photographs.
I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use. I will identify or describe any unusual or notable wear and damage in the description of the item or in the photographs but please email me if you have specific concerns I have not addressed.

International Sales: I ship through the Ebay Global Shipping program (GSP) please refer to their policies for specifics that apply to the buyer.
Multiple purchases will be combined for shipping when possible. I might discount for multiple purchases. Please contact me first before buying so that we can adjust the prices. If you want to ship to a PO Box please check with me before combining purchases as some items can only be shipped by FedEx or UPS and they do not deliver to PO Boxes.
