This item is an antique Mappin and Webb Salt Shaker.
It is two pieces, the base and lid. It has not been cleaned or polished, so it
has the aged patina, some scratches.
The underside is marked with the M & W design in a crest; an anchor, lion passant, and letter D.
It also is marked: MAPPIN & WEBB.
Height is nearly 2-7/8 inches and width is about 1-14  inches.
The corners have a slant or beveled shape.
Overall, lovely.
