Antique ENGLISH Sterling Silver Compact Mirror Repousse 925 UK 669D
Hallmarked "sterling" with a lion passant facing left.  Numbered: 2830
Weight: 44.3 grams
Compact closes but does not snap tightly.  The silver solder spot that tightly secures it has worn a hair over the years (photo 9).  It should remain closed in a purse, however a spot of silver solder would easily resolve this.
Elegant piece, normal light scratches from use, mild tarnish, a couple tiny nicks to rim from opening and closing (photos 11-12), overall in very good condition.
