This auction is for a 1929 Football Medallion with storage/display case
I can not tell you much about this accept for what it says and the date stamps on back
This reads as follows: tournoi triangulaire belgique france grande bretagne
Translates to: Belgium triangular tournament Great Britain France
des armees
Translates to: The Armed
The back has the Following Symbols: Anchor Lion and a capitol E
This dates it to 1929 and is a Birmingham Sterling Silver mark
Also marked on back is BHJ( I believe this to be Barnet Henry Joseph)
From the picture on front my best guess this was a coin style metal for Football
Case is marked Carrington & Co. LTD
Medallion measures approx. 1-1/4" across
Rare piece that comes in original storage case
Outer case does show normal age wear.
