Presented is a wonderful English Georgian sterling silver serving tray or salver. This piece dates to 1805 and was made by Peter, Ann & William Bateman. The tray is done in an elegant, classical form, with a beaded design around the rim. The tray stands on three triangular feet, which are bordered by the same beaded design as the rim. The tray is clean as can be, with no monograms, inscriptions, or engravings. This is a rare and highly desirable piece by these renowned silver makers, and would make a great showpiece addition to any silver collection.
