90 (Ninety) 1960's U.S. Government Governors Signature Autograph Lot Book
An older friend of mine spent much of his childhood gathering massive amounts of autographs of all sorts and has asked me to find new homes for them
This is a collection of mostly Governors from 1963(if labelled correctly) and a number of others.   My count is below.
The blue binder containing them is in fair condition but is holding together just fine.   I imagine that only a handful of these could be authenticated but I don't wish to mess with it.  Most are not going to be of much value and many of the signatures I cannot read. There may be some autographs in here of value.
I've worked a little bit with authenticating autographs and have realized that many of them are not authentic even though obtained through the appropriate channels.  (ie.  some people had so many requests for autographs that most of the autographs in circulation(though sent from the appropriate government office and on official government letterhead) were signed by a special public relations person who had practiced the signature in question.  While all of the signatures were acquired in the correct way,  I cannot guarantee the authenticity of the signer.
Many of the signatures are on cards but some are on Time Magazine covers from the era.  They still have the appropriate creases from being mailed back and forth in an envelope.   Please see photos.  I was not able to take photos of all the pages.  This would make a great exploration for a lover of 60's history.  Sold as-is with no returns.
